The City of St. Charles Ambulance Service operates on an all-volunteer basis. The St. Charles Ambulance Service responds to all types of medical calls, traumas, and public disasters. Currently there are 19 NREMT-B certified members. The ambulance service responds to approximately 300-350 calls per year.

The City of St. Charles Ambulance Service accepts applications to serve on the volunteer ambulance on an ongoing basis.  Training to become a certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) varies on the time of instruction being offered throughout the year.  If you are interested in serving St. Charles and the surrounding area and volunteering a minimum of 60 hours a month, please fill out the application below or contact Ambulance Director, Jeff Hardtke by emailing scambulance@stcharlesmn.org.  Applications can be dropped off at City Hall at 830 Whitewater Avenue, St. Charles, MN 55972.  The City of St. Charles is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
