The St. Charles Library Board is gathering data to help determine the vision for the library through the resources and services it offers residents. To the end, a brief survey is attached to help solicit feedback on the programs and services offered or those that patrons of the library expect. Please take a moment to fill the survey below in the link and feel free to drop it off at the Library or City Hall.

The St. Charles Public Library links residents with resources and people worldwide. Care is taken to ensure that residents receive materials, services, and programs that meet their unique needs. Quality customer service is our highest priority and all service and resource allocation decisions will be made with the customers needs in mind.

The Library offers over 24,000 books, print materials and videos to its patrons. With annual circulation in excess of 32,000, a staff of three librarians, and membership in the southeastern library system – the St. Charles Public Library will meet your every education or recreational need.

The library offers “story-hour” for children the first Wednesday of the month at 10:30 a.m. and the first Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m. Come and join in!
