The City Of St. Charles does not endorse or provide a guarantee of daycare quality.
Brookwood Park was developed in 2000 and consists of 2.5 acres and is located on the north end of Whitewater Avenue. The park features playground equipment and a pavilion. Following the flood of 2007, the former trailer park homes that were located in the flood-prone area were relocated and with the help of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the City acquired the property and constructed an area that now serves as a local Park & Ride space for residents traveling to either Rochester or Winona via the public transit service. The local snowmobile enthusiasts club, the Whitewater Trailblazers, have donated money to various projects within the park over time.
Sunday Morning Service – 10:00am – refer to website for current worship location.

The St. Charles School District serves approximately 1,100 students in grades K-12. In addition, preschool children with disabilities are served by District staff and programs. All children from birth to age five are eligible, along with their parents, to take part in the Early Childhood Family Education program.
Our students attend either the Elementary School, pre-school through grade six, or the High School, grades seven through twelve. Our superintendent and administrative functions are housed at the High School which is also the home to monthly school board meetings. The school district is governed by a seven member Board of Directors.
We are proud of the quality instruction that takes place on a daily basis at both the High School and Elementary School and invite you to tour the while classes are in session. Please feel free to call Superintendent Jeff Apse at 507-932-4420 to arrange a guided tour or stop in the office of either building for an impromptu tour.
You want an excellent education for your child. So do we. All of us in the St. Charles Public Schools are committed to helping each student develop the knowledge, skills, and character needed to thrive in a changing world. We look forward to welcoming family to our community and hope you will join us.
